J.D. GORE
The following testimonial was written by J.D. Gore – freelance outdoor writer / photographer and host to television’s BOWTECH’S Hunting Adventures TV and co-host of Field Test TV outdoor programs. It was written on October 7, 2002 – upon return from a week-long elk hunt in Colorado’s high country. In this account, J.D. wore a Back Country Jkt. made from H2P® Camo utilizing the Mossy Oak® Break-Up® pattern.

Matthew, thank you for the use of your Back Country jacket. It worked perfectly. Archery hunting for elk in the high altitudes of Colorado can prove taxing, even for those in great physical condition. But your Back Country jacket held up in every situation I encountered on the peaks – wind, rain, and snow never penetrated the H2P® System.

Your clothing allows me to still-hunt in comfort and silence, and yet brave the worst weather you can imagine; Like nine to 12 foot seas and 55mph winds. I stayed dry and comfortable and then went on a spot and stalk hunt for spring bears, without a single concern. Rivers West with the H2P waterproof system is the only clothes the serious hunter will need, ever.

The heavy hiking from base-camp at 9,600 ft. to our hunt at 12,000 ft. each day was grueling, but the underarm pit-zips let me vent-out the extra steam without giving up my body warmth. I could go on and on about the Back Country jacket but I’m off on another hunt, and you can bet I will not be without my H2P® gear.

Thank you for the great outdoor protection and comfort in your line of clothing. Keep up the good work.
